    Radar with rotational drive
The EeZeBilt OSA Missile boat is 1:48 scale (see http://eezebilt.tk/OSA.html ). It uses a couple of geared motors for its two
    radar scanners
. They were sourced from ebay to have approximately the right revs - faster if anything. See: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/3V-Model-Making-Multipurpose-Hand-Square-Micro-DC-Motor-Gear-Gear-DIY-Box/233174112136?hash=item364a429788:g:eC8AAOSwGDNckuvL and https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/S7T7-DC-3V-30RPM-Torque-Geared-Gearbox-Gear-Box-Micro-Electric-Motor-Silver/302844117212?_trkparms=aid%3D555018%26algo%3DPL.SIM%26ao%3D1%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3D0e921d41ff3b4ca6979bf779b4df3ff1%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D6%26rkt%3D12%26sd%3D233174112136%26itm%3D302844117212&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851 Each was then adjusted for speed using a voltage reducer. One is required to go at about twice the speed of the other: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/New-DC-DC-Adjustable-Step-Down-Buck-Voltage-Reducer-Stabilizer-Converter-Case/382762061618?hash=item591e658f32:g:1FwAAOSwLKhb9RNY This measured ideal voltage was then fed to each one by dropping the boat master voltage through a separate series of diodes for each motor. Both scanners can be separated for packing. The rear one slots direct onto the drive shaft. The front scanner is driven by a thin piano wire which pushes into a silicone tube connected to the drive motor when it is assembled. Specifically, what do you want to know?
