Huntsman fittings kit.
Hi Novagsio
Do tread carefully if you intend to use Westbourne as there has been posts on this and other sites regarding their poor service level and lack of advertised stock.
Canabus has a build blog mdlbt.com/31424
Not sure exactly what fittings you require but Reade Models may be able to help as they supported fittings for many of the kits produced alongside the Precedent range.

If you are looking for the window frames then you may need to fabricate from liteply, or if you have a 3D printer source have some fabricated.

Yet they still show the shop frontage on their site and Magazine adverts. it was a sad day when my local model shop Ashton Models closed, know far and wide used it man and boy in that order, they were old school, seemed to know everything about any hobby you could think of, rarely where they stumped. if you needed a thingy bob for a whats it you call it, you left with the very thing you needed, it was a treasure trove. A sad day indeed when they closed.

Hi Robbob,
We're slowly and steadily tagging keywords across the website.
It's an experiment at the moment more than anything else. I do like how you can drill down into boat names and keywords though, which then brings up other posts from across the website containing those words.
It could be used for all sorts of things mind. Recommending things you might be interested in, to show trending tags, similar to twitter! it also helps search engines. The website is still a little lost in Google. Stupidly
westbourne models
ranks much higher than both this site and meyhem!

DO NOT order from Westbourne. There have been many complaints on various forums about their lack of service and concern for the customer (myself included).
It appears (from another forum) that the shop is boarded up and they only trade via the internet now.
But, DO NOT order over the net. I did a few months ago and when I eventually found out that they didn't stock the props I wanted, I cancelled the order and was assured a full refund would be paid.
They did not, and after chasing numerous times had to get my credit card company involved. BTW, when I did once get through on the phone and I said I'd sent an email, the guy on the phone said they don't bother with emails as there's so many backed up at their email address!!!
It's a shame their website is so slick but the customer service 'aint.

Also I live in the States and I receive my parcel in about a weeks time.
PS. Stay away from Westbourne all I've heard is People having problems with their purchases.

I have not got what I order from Westbourne ever, either send me an alternative or after a phone call or three was told out of stock, still a waiting refund, not a large amount so not too bothered, just trust as gone out the window. They still advertising on web and Model boat magazines.
I'd stick with Cornwall Model or any other Model shop, but Westbourne.

Until Sainsalvio gets his Refund I will remain calm, lol, but Westbourne will be getting a much more strongly worded call from me once it has been settled. Watch this space!!

WESTBOURNE MODEL CO.
Hi Guys
I live about 5 miles from Westbourne.
The shop has been empty at least since Oct 2015 when I last went by there.
Builders onsite refurbishing the shop unit no sign of
westbourne models
.
I didn't stop as anyone who has been there knows parking is very difficult.
To day 3rd May 2016. I again went by, just out of curiosity as so many modellers on many forums are having problems with
westbourne models
.
Situation still the same, builders equipment and materials on site, the sign above the shop reads "To let" again I couldn't park to get a closer look or ask one of the builders what the situation was.
Perhaps Westbourne operate from home these days, I have no idea.
If I do get a chance I will stop by and ask someone in a nearby shop perhaps.
I hope this may be of some help to forum members.

They have recently relocated to a new building across the road from their old shop. had a few problems with the telephone lines so communications were bad. I do shop there as its the nearest model shop that deals with boats to me, even though its takes one and half hours to get there.

Just been to E-Bay and did a search this link popped up still same price and in stock - http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/320A-7-2V-16V-Bidirectional-Brushed-ESC-Speed-Controller-RC-Car-Truck-Boat-T5-/400556979559?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts_13&hash=item5d430e7567 - have sent for one over a week ago, but that is normal, patience is a virtue :-). Did order some parts from
westbourne models
in May, emails got bounced repeatedly and finally got through on telephone, but despite many assurances and a promise of owner personal email, Zilch so far, the cost involved is minimal so not too worried, but its the lack of service and broken promises that is the most upsetting, belief others have had similar experiences with this shop on checking around web, so in no rush to order any more stuff from that site :-(

HI Dave,
Found this shop to be a great source, of parts and info, WISH WE HAD SIMILAR NEAR WHERE I LIVE. Being a pensioner I'm of the old school and like to see items I intend to buy and talk to people who speak in plain english not jargon when they explain things. Westbourne certainly fills this criteria. They even pointed me to other parts supplies, of stuff they didn't stock but knew about. FULL MARKS ON ALL COUNTS.
