As before, different to sail a single sail as compared to a Bermuda rig . Still, it's fun and easy to sail. Cheers. Ken, thanks for the tip to send a picture as well. I know know how to do it, thanks To Doug. (ESC: Scratch build) (8/10)
    (Yacht) Wee nip.
Made from plans, single sail, totally different to sail than normal Bermuda sail rig, but sails well. (8/10)
(Yacht) Dragon force, micro magic, one metre,
Sails well. They all sail well, depending on the wind (Motor: Wind.) (8/10)

I might even get down there myself now and again, as you say keep my hand in, I don’t think there is anything wrong in going out, to where ever you want, just keep a mind on the environment, and be sensible.

Due to our suspension, VGMBC , will have to keep an eye on the activities along the welsh waters from afar. I know captain Nerys is in a mind of visiting the area when she and her assistant can get away from their land locked position.
Keep us in touch Nerys ,

    Hi capt Nerys,
I went down to the water edge this morning, looking for
Able bodied seamen, to try and get some money out of them. But they had been pre warned and stayed away.
I was happy though, watching the council men trying to empty the lake, by opening the overflow v/v. They were still there, sat in their lorry reading a local newspaper when I left at 11:40
The lake is still there though hehe, unless they intend to stay all day.
No more to report on the western front Capt.
So cheers for now see you and Alice soon

Hi Capt. Nerys,,, I tickled her barnacles to day, working on her mast and tabernacle, got a nice fit and included a wedge at rear end to keep her pushed flush towards the front. Bit of colour on her woodwork. Starting to sneak in to the garage to work on her, little bit here, little bit there. Soon get up and running.
    Cheers for now Captain

Is it telling you that the battery level is low?
    check or re charge.
Or it could be that the timer on the tx has been set, and its run down, or reached its set level..toggle switch top left on tx?.Could have been switched on by accident.

Stagnate sailed well in the poor wind conditions, a pity she could not have had better weather. It’s alway hand on heart sailing a model for the first time, she did as she was meant to. And looked very nice on the water, looked graceful and elegant, just like any lady should.
Well done Nerys, good job done. Credit as well must go to Alice who captured the moments on camera.
Looking forward to seeing Stangate again in good sailing weather.
    Cheers for now

    Hi Red Rider
Tx is transmiter, Rx is reciever .
If your ESC electric speed controller has Bec, battery eliminating circuit, it will get power from your main battery. This could be 6v or 12v.
Correct when you say esc connects to battery, and motor, red and black to battery, blue and yellow to motor, rudder servo connects to receiver.
I’m sure some one will correct me if I’m wrong.
    Cheers RedRider happy sailing.

We should get a few volunteers to man the boats for this trip.

Hi Phil, yes we are busy, not for the last couple of weeks though, due to the bad weather. We meet up on the first Saturday of the month at a Toby Carvery for breakfast and a good old chin wag.
As we haven’t seen much of our members the last few meetings the next one breakfast, I’m hoping we get a few more turn up, so we don’t forget what we look like.lol. And to practice our banter.
Don’t forget, if you have the chance to pop in, Saturdays or Tuesdays there
will be someone there to chat to. We talk to anybody,
