    Hi
Been looking into making a rotary water joint to use on my tugs fire monitor. I donโ€™t have a great deal of space on my tug so I need a small unit. This is my first version.

The parts have been made on my lathe.

    1. The main body is brass
    2. The brass sealing screw plug also has the water inlet tube.
    3. The rotary stainless steel water outlet is made from tube.
    4. The tube will eventually be rotated via two plastic gears linked to a servo. This version has a typical servo arm just to check that all is ok, before I make the next version.
    5. It has two ball races inside and one shaft seal.
    6. The knurled sealing screw has an โ€œOโ€ ring to seal the water chamber.
    Kevin
