I see that the slightly older generation is also really active here. It's exactly the same with us.
Unfortunately, ‘Gen Z’ is more active with Tiktok.
We try to attract grandchildren and young people who are interested. Last year, I made a bottle boat with my grandchildren on a camping trip and they really enjoyed it.
Finding an incentive in today's media world is a problem that other sectors also have to contend with.
I myself have two kids from the neighbourhood under my wing who turn up at my place every free Wednesday afternoon to do handicrafts. Young people today are very fidgety and restless, which means that model shipbuilding can only be developed with calm and patience. And you also need nerves of steel. . .
You see, we also try everything possible!
