Hi Jim,
Returned to daughterโs shed today and found mast and boom, both look intact with rigging, will inspect more closely once Iโve got the cobwebs off! I guess the starting point should be the hull and paint while itโs easier to handle. I should be ok for plans, parts lists and Iโve got the sails. Thx for help and info.
Mike

Hi,
The more I look at this boat the more work surfaces! no surprise there I guess! so I'm going to be a pest with plenty of questions:
- looking at the hull I'd like to repaint it, I'm wondering if the 'crazing' lines in the hull/paint are repairable? I'm hoping just rub down and respray using same colours, once I determine what they are! the starboard side also has a gold stripe which I'll have to reproduce on the port side, see pics,
- the Futaba F-14 transmitter has no charger and probably the battery is knackered, ebay items?
- it looks like the main mast and one of the booms is missing, any ideas where I can get replacements? and fitting kits
I'm not an experienced model builder so any help is appreciated.
Again thx,
Mike.

Hi,
I'm going to test the electronics before fitting, what batteries are you guys using in the boat? are they rechargeable?
Thx,
Mike

Hi Guys,
A couple of years ago my daughter and husband moved into a house in Lincolnshire, in the garden shed was a partially completed robbe Smaragd! I have recovered it to my own den and am trying to ascertain have far the previous owner got and plan to complete the build. I have all the documentation and plans but not sure I have all the parts! certainly the main mast is missing so it's back to the shed to search when lockdown permits! I'm not sure how the blister kit fits!! In the mean time any help or advice would be appreciated.
Cheers and stay safe,
Mike
