Thank you very much, I did have a look on Amazon, but most had long delivery dates. I'll check out the Modellers shop , I located a sheet, but it was much larger than required. Many thanks.πŸ‘

HI, I wondered if anyone knew where I could source a small sheet of ABS plastic. I've tried on selling sites but the vast majority appear to come from China. Its more to do with time scale for delivery. I'm trying to source somewhere in the UK? wondered if anyone was aware of a more local source to try? Many thanks πŸ‘πŸ˜

    Good afternoon everyone
I am looking for some advice in regrads to RC controller/receiver set up. My last dip into RC equipment was decades ago and specifically for model aircraft.
I still have an old MacGregor Jr 7 FM system, TR/TX, servos etc.
However, it is dated and it is my understanding that a 2.4Ghz systems are now predominately used these days.
I've seen many different systems for sale with the vast majority for aircraft/drones etc. I'm not sure what manufacturers / systems are worthy or to aviod (if any).
I am curious as to the views of others, although a 2 channel system would do, I am considering something with a little more potential should i decide to expand/upgrade at some point.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

    Thanks

    Allan

    Hi

Being a newbie to model boat making and having made a VERY slow start trying to read between the lines of given build instructions with my Calderwood Clyde Puffer kit πŸ€”, I'm realising just how uniformed i am in regards to skill requirements, experience and model engineering skills.
I'm struggling to get my head around scale of parts. I want to replace the white metal Prop provided with the kit for a brass alternative.
Having had a look on line, i have found similar 3 bladed props, but i am unclear what it means by left / right threaded, I'm guessing for screwing on to the prop shaft and nothing to do with the motor? and I'm unsure how to measure the prop to ensure i get the right size for the scale of the model. I've tried measuring across the blades but that doesn't appear to correlate to what I have found in ads, Any advice / words of wisdom would be Very much appreciated. Thank you in anticipation..

Hi Martin I would like to say yes, I have the model and just trying and find free time, but thought I would made a start. I don't have much spare time just now, so it is going to be slow progress I feel but I will be making a start.
