Went to Tobruk from Toulon on one and returned during mid 60's run by merchant navy and a lot of chinese depending which engineer was on we got to swim in the bow section. Not if the scots engineer was on as he had the hump due he got nowhere with his ''see you jimmy '' as we were all either Scots Greys or Black Watch. No tanks just soft skins and armoured cars plus our 2 choppers. Also used in Aden but that was a short trip up the coast that was everything and Carriers big flag waving exercise
Are you highlighting the link and then right clicvking and getting google to find it as it seems on this site you just cant click on it like you should be able to Munich you might also salvage the Disc drive motors they should be small Brushless ones
I use these http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/122489724489?ul_noapp=true in my S-Boot and PT boat both driving 3x motors ie MFA 850's and Graupner 600's those Blue or pink ones I had trouble with as with Not electronize but the other ones. They are car ones and you could probably get similar ones in the UK . They may be chinese amps but they handle 40amps plus no bother
AS said or there is waitrose and lidls carpark Virtually just across the road and whilst you are visiting you are only 5 mins from the lake grounds and Battry point which has a memorial to the merchnt seamnn
I have the Dusseldorf alas no instructions I could trace the stand outline if that would be suitable. the hull sections will fit on an A4 sheet so it would be full size.If you PM me I will do this W/end and send as PDF
