Acetone is the solvent I have in my kit. Works a treat to dissolve super glue. I presume it's the residue you want to remove rather than releasing the pieces and that could be tricky as the acetone evaporates very quickly.
Anyone else have thoughts on this.

Just north of Doncaster. Nice, used to live in Rotherham and then Sheffield. Went to Hatfield to paddle with Greenstar canoe club, travelled all over the north of England and occasionally further afield for competitions. My boating is now solely models but we are a bit far away to join in with you as we live on the Wirral now.

I remember seeing this when I visited Isreal and Jordan in 1996. It had not long been found and was displayed in a temporary building near the lake while they stabilised it. If I remember correctly it was discovered because they had had a drought year and the lake was very low. And like when they raised the Mary Rose here in the UK it had to be sprayed to stop it drying out while they agreed on how to preserve it long term.

Yes, I had realised that it was mixing the esc signals so the description whilst helpful was not complete as the type of esc probably doesn't matter to it.

It is interesting to see these older models when they come round. I always look out for them on displays at the fairs, not that I am in the market to buy just interested. Although I am occasionally offered things like the Meccano steam boiler a friend passed on to me earlier this year.

Wow, it makes my paddle steamer project look small.
You will need a gear reduction on an electric motor. I have an MFA 540 size with a gearbox that I intend to use. They can be bought with some serious reduction that gives a huge torque increase. Creative coupling could see the pistons working in real time. Good luck

I was with friends at Hoylake boating lake yesterday and one of them has a Fairey Huntsman kit to build without instructions. Does Dave have the build instructions for his by any chance, such that he could share the information with us? So his kit can be built without too much guess work.
