๐ 3D printer choice?

Having just read your last post re 3D printers I thought I would share with you what we use.
I am using an 'Anycubic Photon Mono M5s' 3D a printer to produce all the parts previously made by casting them in resin.
It does the job very very well.
Choosing the right resin took me a lot of testing but we are there now. Any of the 'tough' resins will do the job.

This probably sounds a bit daft but have you tried cutting with it?
There are a couple of saws which do just what you describe (vibrate) and they are design to cut wood and other rigid materials, but not kiddies fingers in schools.
I had a similar one which was lost in the fire.

Its correct in every respect and its the correct texture too.
Every single part of the kit was drawn in 3D cad (123D Design) and produced on a Forms2 3D printer. Then everything was scaled down to 1/16th scale and thse are now available from Tony Bakewell, the new owner of Speedline Models. See facebook๐

It is traditional to paint the lower half of slipway launched boats white. When the Tamar was introduced the lower half was antI fouling red ( almost shocking pink). Cromer's boat (16-05) was changed from red to white. Barrow's boat was the first one to go onย station with a white hull.
