when building the Norfolk wherry and buying a book called Wherries and waterways i find info on a boat called a Norfolk Keel which had a mid mounted mast with a square sail can someone please help me in looking for more info on this type of boat
still to be finished ie last bend paint and seal and if the rudder size is to large then i can cut it down this will be done if i ever get this finished and sailing the length is as per plan ,only the depth is increased
After a 2nd float all's well in that department now fitting the workey things on the inside, sub deck still to be trimmed to correct size inside and outside then i can start on the superstructure
as the wherry is to big to fit in the sink took it to the boat pond this morning just 1 small leak in the rear so got home and filled the hole ?? so now only needs to test the rear this can be done in the sink now to work on the steering and winches
using 2mm ply 1st subdeck temp fitted this will be sanded to fit hull when final fitting i need help with the rudder control before final fitting do i go for wire in tube or rod ??
before i do the deck and hold i needed to see if the mast was going to look ok, so set mast in temp, and did find 2 brass single working pullies.. comments please
