I always used some small bore bending springs which fit outside the tube.
Mine are from K&S and are available from Hobbies UK or most model shops. As already mentioned you should anneal the tubing first.

I had a similar problem and ended up cutting down a couple of spoons. The problem is finding spoons of the correct size. ๐Ÿ‘

A number of glowing reviews on YouTube.

I researched the Brennan devices about a year ago but came to the conclusion that although it does the job it was just too expensive for my purposes. I appreciate this is just my personal view.

Looks the part on the water. It has been incredibly gloomy over the past couple of days though so we all need some lights on!
Calm waters for 2024 and new projects. Happy New Year!

Nice work! Certainly looks the part at speed. Clever idea to make the canopy out of mesh to get the airflow. ๐Ÿ‘

A true classic design, Remora and Pirana from Vic were the mainstay of model powerboating in the 60s and 70s. You made a lovely job of it too. Enjoy

You made a fine job of it. Very nice model. A good tribute naming it for your wife - keeps the waters smooth when you need to do the flotation tests in the bath! ๐Ÿ‘

I don't blame you - no offence to the grandson but this deserves to wet it's hull in some proper water. Plenty of scope for weathering and adding realism if thats what you want to do with it - or a great display model ๐Ÿ‘

You made a nice job of finishing your Dad's work. I have the kit somewhere in my stash but never got further than looking over the plans. This might give me the motivation to get started. ๐Ÿ‘

I would prefer two because you will never be sure how the flow is being split and you might fry the ESC or the motor.
You might get away with it after some rigorous tests to ensure that both components are getting adequate cooling, but there is a risk

When I was about 5 I had a Star Yachts Endeavour 1. This was later joined by an Endeavour II which my Uncle found, weathered and adrift, on Lake Windermere. My Dad repainted the hull and varnished the deck.
Sadly all now gone - boats, Uncle and Dad.

MM1359 is the 46 foot version - it was mentioned in the Model Boats magazine link that I sent from the guy who was building a 34.

Fisher Motor sailers have been associated most recently with Freeward Marine, hence the confusion over the name, although Freeward do not appear to be a manufacturer currently.

Sarik Hobbies have the plan for a Fisher 25 and the previous Model Boats article below suggests there is a Fisher 46 plan.
