Thanks Trev , That is how i fitted them and the motors all running in same direction but the boat gives out a load of wash from the rear so i am guessing the rotation is incorrect.

Hi, If anyone is interested My Hull, accessories and a full set of cotton professionally made sail set of four by Nylet which i am waiting for to be finished and delivered. I have started work on the hull and have some photos of the woodwork already done, i have also fitted a motor and prop shaft for those days when the wind drops. I am open to offers but bare in mind the sail cost me about ยฃ400. Due to ill health and injury on my spine.

HI folks, Can anyone tell me where I might get plans for a 1/16 scale Severn lifeboat, I have tried a few but know one answers my emails, I suppose I could use plans in a different scale if I have too.

Hi Andy, As much as i would love to finish my Katie, I think my Surgeon might have put the mockers on that today, i will have to think about building a static version as i could have problems with a boat which is heavy to carry but we will see.

Hi Dave, I have had a play with the wiring this afternoon I wired the motors in series and bravo 80% quieter I can put up with that. I should think with the decking fitted it will be really quiet.

Cheers Dave much appreciated Thank you. ๐Ÿ‘

Hi Dave I have a new 400 motor at my Dads garage i will that a go and i will give a go wiring at wiring the motors in series. As you say having the deck on will help a lot to keep the noise down, i will try both ideas and let you know either way.

Thanks again for your help Jon.

Hi, It is a little quieter with one ESC disconnected, disconnecting one motor makes no difference and of course with both there is no noise. i did the same with the other one and no difference on the other ESC and motors.

Hi Andy, Still struggling and waiting for an MRi at the Hospital. Yes looking at your photo's of your gooseneck i think i can manage to make to make one from meccano parts and i have loads off RC car and Hornby train gears etc. Photo's really helped. I have been working on my Fairmile and getting on really well, Once i get the Prop shaft Skegs i have ordered i will get the four motors and props fitted before i cover the Hull with decking as i promised one of our American members i will do a blog and get some photo's on here. As far as Katie is concerned i will carry on with Build as soon as i have finished Fairmile. Thanks for the info on the Gooseneck That really helped with the head ache it was giving me.
