Another from a recent ebay haul, still can't find any info. Its for my son.
I know its a FB hull and shows signs of being a twin prop at some point in its life.
Not too sure about those wings on the deck being original, but any pointers to what could have been would help before I refurbish it.

Plywood and glue will prevail 😊 plus a heap of plastic card, working for assorted photos but will be a way off scale.. just better than scrapping the hull and no idea what it could have been due to the shape has been modded over time

Go this unkown hull as part of an ebay purchase... Was Pretty much ruined inside full of chopped mat and and very poor.
My son asked me to create something usable.. So looking at hull and nor even knowing what is was ? We decided to remove all the chopped mat filling and sand it baks a bit to see if it can be fixed up... so a fixer upper .
So begins a semi scale MTB 77 of sorts..
will post a bit more as I get forward with this.. no plans just a few ref photo to help .. building this in tandem with bearospace emma..🤞🤞

yes maybe I should have thought of that , thanks.. frames cut an glued now... so maybe as the plan states semi... scale ish..

Bit of a late start to this, I was moving ok with this till I injured my left hand. (steam burn)
Had the drawings for this and some parts cut for over a year now.. Finaly got things on the move.. messed up a few times due to issue with the drawing (frames off from one page to the next) maybe I didnt read em right ! but the drawing does say its semi scale .. Bit bigger in life tha I tought (small workspace) but should be ok.. Will post more as I get on with it.. using a lot of offcuts and scrap box wood in this..

Well the model is moving forwards now my hand has healed, still lots or sanding and still need to add top boards then work on the frames...
some boards are off but 1st one.. will try harder next time.
Plans do say that the planks will form the layout and the frames on the strongback are a guide... So lets hope its works out for me.
I also now have access to a friends collection (1960s) of hand built cobles, both sailing and motor (whitby type) along with the strong backs used on those models.
this will be an on going projects type of thing.. learning as I go..

Hi yes its built following MM 1040 enterprise.
I also now have access to several hand built display models and the strongback that they had been built from, so starting to form drawings for a typical yorkshire coast Coble from more recent times (1960s ish) that are much wider and have inboard engine.

Not sure yet a but probaly spinup between a Anycubic Mono X or the Elegoo Saturn S...
bigger print area and 4k would work ok for me, I was unsure holdng out for the bigger build plate compared to the cheaper 4k (small screen) but when looking at some of my models I decided the larger one would work better for Me..

I use creality CR10... cura for slicing.. been running that for over 3 years, had 2 new all metal hot ends and new roller bearings.. updated it to MARLIN ! printed a better fan mount > and thats about it.. no other issues ever.. prints PLA and PetG . Getting myself a resin printer soon for fine detail stuff..
I.ve also been using Fusion360 for design and modeling.. (free home user) and that been a breeze to use, now I even do the parts for my small CNC router on it.

Will update on this any day now... Still also working on other models too but in my endeavour steaming the wood for the coble burnt my left had.. 2nd degree when the steam pipe popped of my steam unit.. idiot features tried to catch the pipe😴 resulting no skin on left wrist :(
