This is a wooden kit built in the early 1970s, She runs well from an old precedent kit; the number relates to hull number based on a Fairmile D type boat

A recent swap for a past project, so far not tested, at least it floats, also small leak in the prop shaft due to loose prop, that's now been fixed and installed a smoke unit looks bit more like it had yo increase the weight to make her sit right ion the water, new smoke unit fitted

Thames Richmond boat Co. boat
Aquired this boat some time ago I take it its some form of kit deck fitings have the look of a home made one 7.4 volt
I have since found out in the late 1950s Richmond boats made models of there actual Cabin crusiers for there customers children 24 was made in all so in every thing a bit of history boat story comes out

Mocca class 1881
This boat is an unknown all-wood scratch built of an unusual prototype The Mocca class built by Thorneycraft at Chiswick they were the prototype of torpedo boats with a single locomotive boiler two torpedos in the tubes and two spares on the deck to the rear of the tubes
The motor fitted does not work so I have replaced this and the speed controller and radio the weakness of this model is that I have made a rudder as plan its a bit big to get caught up in pond weed

A recent gain to the fleet is a model with a smoke unit and sound unit and now a new motor and speed controller, with recent balancing we had to add a lot of weight to gain the right trim

Vivacity Cabin Cruiser Roxanne
A recent acquisition from a deceased Freind, The boat is an all wood construction she has been identified as a Vic Smeed design of Vivacity copied from an ex converted Mtb she is 61 x17so tad bigger than the standard 54 inch model and is a nice model of a classic design powered by two 6 v batteries, following a mishap with the top of the boat this has ment the top had to be remade and taken the opportunity to fit some interior detail with in and new lights, new halliards been fitted and also working on wireless masts then we are complete.

Pilot boat San Juan Bay no 2
This a nice boat with working lights and radar she goes well fitted with 2.4 GHz like all my boats have it runs on 12v and a 7.4v NiMiH battery as an auxiliary battery for the lights etc following a dinged with a concrete pond side I have fitted rubber edges to the boat just like the real thing.

This boat is a car boot find all for 20.00 a bargin. luckly I have quite a few of the parts in my boxes its a kit built one out of plywood and Balsa wood, I am going to alter the hull so it has three motors I have three 850 motors I like to use brushed motors it has twin rudders fitted the mid part of the boat is almost there so with few holes to fill and a repaint should be good place to start

so I have put the build as follows
1/ The hull is minus every thing inside I am not sure if I need to add more compartments

This boat was made from the first batch of models in the 1960 it's well built and along the way has lost a few white metal parts and middle floor section and the odd dinged from storage.the boat was never finished as its maker went on to other projects
I got as far as testing it in bath doesn't leak so now we will start on its rebuild Neil very kindly me sent me the plans for the boat and i have acquired set of scaled down 43 inch plans to 34 so that helps a bit

Yes I am going with that as an idea a lot of handrails to fit on the scale I think it comes out as o gauge 7mm to the foot approx 1/43rd so have to find a rowing boat that scale lts a shame that the original boat is now a hulk on a sand bar in Devon
