My old club racer (v1) had a few issues,
It was based on a Stealth Military Craft (24in).

1 Would submerge if hit in the rear by another boat.
2 if flipped would not self right (not sure if new one will)
3 Not great in choppy water.

Sacrifice v1 to provide running gear.
New scratch build boat has a deeper 'v' profile, a few inches longer (27.5)

With the current cost of living going through the roof I could not justify the expense of new running gear for my next club racer. so my old boat had to become a donor, providing the running gear.

The build has been quite quick using 9cm wide planks and gorilla glue, there are no real plans, but as per the rules of the club, the boat should be semi scale military or pleasure boat.

I have based mine on a Chris craft from the 1950's but only loosely as I need a wider all round deck to be able to seal the boat with sticky tape.
The 1950 Chris Craft 25โ€ฒ Sportsman Sedan is the basis of the boat.

Similar to the EeZeBilts From Keil Kraft's Neptune design, please note this is superstructure only the hull is my own design.
