    I understand Isaac.
If I remember correctly you have plenty of room for a smoke generator and you have all the technical skills to make it as you say.

Those are simulated smoke coming out of the three smoke stacks.

This boat was built originally 40-50 years ago and the builder used cotton to simulate smoke.

I would love to install a good system of smoke, but so far nothing that produces thick smoke like fuel powered motors is available. I followed some articles here about the smoke generation, but it is still not thick enough for my taste.

Hello Isaac, what are those white puffs above the smokestacks and what are they for?

    Beautiful navigations ARL 58.

I have a Nilox camera. When it was given to me it cost 50 euros, now I think 70 euros. It comes with an airtight transparent box.
Of course, it is not comparable to the GoPro, but it did the job and up to 40 meters it had no problems.
I have already studied the method for attaching it to the keel of the Francesca RC model (it must not come off) and doing what I suggested to you but there is never time to go out to the lake.

There is no active scale model RC club near me. Only RC sail boats that only race. But it gave me an opportunity to meet other boat and plane modelers.

    But..

I also run my big RC scale boats at a local park and that attracts other people to admire and ask questions about the boats. This is a possibility to form our own un official boat club.

    have fun.๐Ÿ˜Ž

I will check if somebody has an underwater camera....
In the meanwhile, I managed to clip a couple of videos, so the site was happy with their size.

    I forgot ARL58.
If you have an underwater camera, like a GoPro (I have a similar but much cheaper type that I use for my scuba diving) you can put it under the keel of an RC model so you can film the submerged submarine up close.
At a short distance you can still see very well during the day even if the water is cloudy.
In fact it will seem more real and very fascinating.
There is a great YouTube channel that takes underwater footage of ships and submarines. The shots are perfect because they were taken in a swimming pool in clear, blue water but they don't have the charm of reality.
If you already have an underwater camera and can do it, it will be a real spectacle.

Hi ARL 58 beautiful models and great place.
The day of April 21st is the birth of Rome and for me it has a great meaning, I am happy that you had this magnificent day.

Please give my compliments to Mr. Eduardo for his submarine and to Vicente and Angel for the civil guard patrol boat and the fast motorboat. In fact, maybe suggest that they sign up to this forum if they haven't done so yet.

Yes I think you can upload it to YouTube and then paste the link here. On YouTube there are no problems with size and this navigation deserves a good video.

And now, some pics and one video of boats in the water...
Unfortunately, it seems that a couple of videos are too big for the site. I will try to edit them to reduce "weight". Or post as YouTube links.
Weather had been warm in the previous weeks. Water was not as clean as desirable. There was a lot of weed, and that caused issues to pumps.
It seems that something went into the intake of submarine ballast pump, and immersion was much slower than expected. In the case of the PRMB, the monitor did not work.
However, Eduardo managed to have a dynamic immersion, and the result was not bad.
Today I will join them again. I was told that Eduardo will bring an steam-driven side wheeler.
