Hi Herman,
Great photos of a wonderful model. Having built 4 aircraft and three model boats from Vic Sneed plans over many years, I thought I was doing well. However, I recent learnt from an article in Model Boats Magazine that the great man designed over 1000 model aircraft and 400 boat plans and kits -- so we each have some way to go. With his service to model magazines and to the whole modelling movement Vic left a great legacy for us all to enjoy! With best. wishes Dr. John F. Leeds and Bradford. MBC ▲

Toney a good morning, mistake in the length of the RNLI Plymouth :it is 39 inches or 97,5 cm
it ' s radio controled' as all of my boats) it's powered by 2 Marx Hectoperms 6V It's a pleasure to sail as it is very stable on the water. If you are interested i can make a copy of the plan to sent it to you. It's an old plan so the paper is britle and yellowishπ ▲

There's one of these moored in brick Kiln lake off Whale Island. Interesting to know there is a Vic Smeed plan. What's the size of the model -is it static or powered?
