Since the previous maiden sail last week I have worked constantly to add the finishing details, one being the original crew that came with the boat, a battery box and switch to power the radar, boat hooks and lights to the front cabin roof. So today at the pond the wind was howling and it made it a challenge to control the large sided boat. I’m glad I left the IngaIV in the garage I wouldn’t have been able to control in that gale. The major change was adding the 12v spare battery to the stern compartment to act as ballast. I must say the large hull needed it and it sat down lovely on her water line. The steering improved and the “flip flapping” of the props stopped, so the ballast cured all the niggles showing on her maiden voyage. I managed a video to show how she is now. I’m satisfied. Reviewing the video I realised how it shows the wind chasing across the ponds surface. https://youtu.be/maQ0KO80U0E?feature=shared
