Thank you Doug. Here are a few photos of the mechanics, inside and out.
Just a standard servo for the mechanics and a 2nd channel driven from my RadioMaster TX16S tranny to switch the Amber lights on before movement starts and to switch off again when finished via a single channel electronics switch. Brian

The video seems to be in my YouTube library but ‘in limbo’

Thanks for the quick response. As soon as I posted my plea for help I realised that I was asking others to do what I should have done anyway and searched the forum for previous advice. I found a previous post from you, I think, and am now in the process of trying to upload the short clip to YouTube 😂 I have not made it public but hopefully it will work from a link in a new post. The video snag may be the file size. The site will not accept a direct upload of more than 30MB 🤔 If your file is larger then going via YouTube is the best way. Interesting project. A couple of months ago, wow was it only such a short time ago that I joined?
Anyway, CB90 suggested that a video would be in order of the bridge operation on my Egrete. Hopefully, the attached vid might work: let’s see 🤞 Well, that does not seem to have worked. Do I have to upload my vid to YouTube and then add a link here? Some advice would be very welcome. Thanks Brian ▲

Being a noobie I’ll have to figure out how the put up a video but I can do it for it as it is now ( 1 second delay and 10 seconds operation) I’ve only just started working on the all singing all dancing version 😀 Brian ▲

Hi Roy,
It does indeed. Using my RadioMaster TX16S and just a standard servo it’s a simple setup. This tx allows me to simply set the end points, delay before operation and duration: all at the flick of a switch. I plan on adding flashing amber LEDs to the bridge and, the sound of truck reversing warning beeps during the raising and lowering operation. The tx will allow me to output to more than one channel from a single input so the same switch that drives the servo can also output to another channel to operate a remote switch for the lights and wav file playback.
