Purchase a small boat kit eBay/China ($10.00 USD including shipping offer a different amount).

Good luck on the build and do hope you have smallish fingers as I know mine get in the way sometimes.

This is basically a smaller version of Naxos that Hecrowell is building. It's a nice design and seems very popular. Look forward to seeing how it goes together.

Hope it works out for you. No reason why it should not. Hope we can see pics of her on the water eventually. Although she is a static model, the schooner shown on the Ebay page looks interesting.

    Cheers, Nerys

Small boat are difficult to get things right, apart from small motors and speed control, I found the most important thing is the battery position as this will be the largest mass it will determine how she floats.
I tried to modify a small fire boat, all went well until it was underway at speed it would try to imitate a submarine.
Perhaps I was pushing my luck with two Motors, project on hold.

    Hi Ron,
I would strip down a servo and use the motor and the PCB as the speed controller.
