HiDG. As Nick lives on the Wirral I would guess that they sail on the Boating Lake in Crosby Coastal Park. See Maps link. Sadly the Ribble club website seems to have disappeared โน๏ธ Makes you wonder if they still exist! Cheers, Doug๐
Hi Nick, K80 is of course our beloved (of Revell fame or notoriety depending on how much agro you had with her constructionโน๏ธ๐ค!) Flower class corvette HMS Bluebell. G58 was a Clemens class destroyer USS Swasey DD273. Transferred to the RN, under the Destroyers for Bases swindle๐, as Town class Destroyer HMS Rockingham. U49 was a Modified Black Swan-class sloop of the Royal Navy, HMS Pheasant. K327 was a River class Frigate HMCS Stormont, Built in 1943 for the Royal Canadian Navy. She has had a colourful and eventful life with several conversions and refits. She is still afloat as a Luxury Yacht! Cheers, Doug๐

I was at Crosby too, great variety of models. The mulberry was the work of one man whose father had been there. he had been the driver of one of the trucks. I had an interesting chat with him, sorry but I didn't get his name.
