I was givena Solent lifeboat shell from models by design at Christmas 2013 and now ready to start work on it.. No doubt I will be asking loads of questions as details of the mark 1 are quite scarce. Have got the props in and deck roughed out.
First question is what are the the roof indents for over the wheelhouse?

As this is a mark one, it will have sliding doors

Moulding needed loads of filling and wet and dry. Primed to show defects for further rubbing down. Doors and rear hatch sorted. Would not normally have placed on grass but had smuggled the boat into the camper so I could work on it whilst on holiday in the Highlans
