Two years ago I was given a boiler and engine.Wanting to use them I looked for a launch plan to use. Having not found a plan I changed one close to what I wanted. This was the first open launch and total scratch built without a plan. With the launch finished it was OK but the lines from fore to aft looking from the side lay to flat. With the building of the Miranda and the Borkum I could see that both had curves and were not flat.
With this said I cut the launch fore and aft to build them up.The stern was raised almost 1/2" the bow 3/8"the launch now has curve. The before is posted here.
Will post a picture of now tomorrow.

The change is in I'm pleased with the work done. The pictures show more the repair then the curve as it's very subtle to the eye.The change started with the cutting bow and stern some 10" into the boat at both ends.Using shims determined how much I could lift each end without making it look out of shape. That done filled and glued wood to fill the spaces wood filler and sanding to finish the work.Spring will see painting done. With most of my projects done or waiting made the push to change the lines.I built her was sure could fix her.
