This is a very old model from about 15 years ago. I have just put some old motors in and repaired loads of cracks.
Its great fun taking it out to sea in waves that are about a foot high and jump from wave to wave.
Have tried to down load video from phone but dose not seem to work ?

Donโ€™t know if this link will work but did something similar a while ago, the link is to the Model Boats Magazine web site.

I still have it in the shed, perhaps I will dig it out and try it again.

    Hi again Graham,
That's better and answers my question about the steering. Zips about quite well really.

Wow, those motors look like they have done the rounds. I like how you have set the rudder under the transom, I was thinking of sticking mine on the stern, more "outrigger" style. How does it steer with your set up ?

Yes my model was the same drive set up with the speed controller operating steering so added a rudder. I will take some more pics for you.
    Hope the link will work.

Have you got any pictures of inside her now and maybe any of before you changed her. Can you show a couple of pictures of the bottom oh the hull please? I would like some idea's and insipration on another build that I might try. I have started to convert one of those cheap R/C twin motor boats I'm not sure if it's an NQD one. I am leaving in the 380 motor's for now but putting in better R/C instead of the wierd stuff the Chinese have put in. I have repainted it and the motor's will be worked from one speed controller and a seperate rudder fitted to the stern so the motors aren't used for turning the boat. It is still in the part way of the build. I haven't chnged the small prop shaft's. I'm just doing it for a bit of fun. I do have another one I might do a better job on and put in a brushless motor.
