Built from a Magazine Free plan, some how missed 2nd part as it should have a lifting bridge. This was built using ply, but can be done using plastic card, scratch built steerable Nozzles turn out to be very powerfull and manoeuvrable. picture show it running without bridge, have alter bow between pushing post adding a barrier to stop water running over deck at speed, fortunately edging around deck opening did their job and no H2O got insde hull, Have now acquired full plans so next for a refit. (5/10) Back on the water at Etherow Park, now with it bridge fitted 2022, some years have past since first built, did its first :-)rescue when two Rc yachts got stuck on a buoy, with a gentle nudge got them both back on their way.

Gcladd, also went down the wooden root too, around 1990, have since used plastic card on other boats mainly superstructure. Even the non-lifting control cabin on my Egret.

Like what you have done. Mine started as a Winter 2023 project from that same magazine article and plans in Model Boats (1988?), except I built it from wood instead of styrene.

I documented this build thoroughly and wouldn't mind starting a build article on this site if I can get back on task, order the running hardware I need and stop finding other stuff that needs to get done.

Sailing session at Etherow Park MBC, after installing independent speed controls. through my Fly Sky set up, much more maneuverable in all direction.
