About this boat

This class of boat was introduced between 1973 -1982 the last of the wooden built lifeboats but the first to be equipped with radar.
It is an 11.4 M (37ft 6 in) all weather craft with a speed of around 8 knots and range of 140 nautical miles.
I acquired the model some years ago and decided to leave her as original as possible with only essential repairs and cosmetic work. Based on the control gear inside at the time I think she was built in the 1980s. Now fitted with twin 540 motors through belt gearboxes she still sails regularly on our sometimes choppy waters to give that authentic going to a rescue look.
Fitted with full lighting, flashing, flood and day/night lights, all switchable by remote. Speed and maneuverability in the water is as it should be. (Motor: standard 540's) (ESC: Electronize) (10/10)
