    Well after a couple of weeks blood sweat tears tantrums and a couple of choice swear words and a great help off a few on here I think it’s getting like a Huntsman I’m not completely happy with my second paint spray job in my life but I think compared to when I first brought the big tug home I’m hopefully doing it justice time for a few days off now to look after the mrs after her op

    Oh the joys of restoration !
    Most members of our club apply the '10 foot rule', ie. if it looks good when 10' away then it is OK. Personally I prefer the 10" rule, albeit that it gives me a lot more work to do, and inevitably I experience quite a number of 'failures' before I am happy with the end result.
    You have made a decent job of this restoration so far but I'm sure you will continue to punish yourself with doubts whether it is to an acceptable standard. Not to worry. This is what restoration is all about. So long as you are happy with the end result that is all that matters.
