Hi Wolle,
If you can find it, a 'Microfibre' filler powder is not just a 'bulk' filler and may be your best choice for this type of repair. It serve as a structural filler due to the 'loose weave' form the powder takes. Once the resin hardens, the loose weave no longer slides over each itself and forms a structure similar to OSB Board or Chip Board. It's a structure which is semi rigid and not prone to cracking when cured! ▲

dG has good advice. If you need patch inside as well.
Depending on size of crack if small you can use CA glue or the tube of Bondo. Depends on how big and depth. CA with micro beads or a small amount of talc or similar powder to epoxy will work. If itโs a big hole then a fiberglass patch which is then blended n sanded ▲

Hi Wolle, It looks to me like the hull was moulded with a very thick layer of Gelcoat which was allowed to cure too far before the wet Chopped Mat was laid on. The result is the two separated when skin flexed and separated with a compression load placed on top of the hull.
On the inside of the hull, stick 3 or 4 layers of masking tape across where the crack is, to support the cloth and keep the shape during the repair. Slowly grind away the outside layer of Gelcoat with a small drum sander, trying to avoid going into the fibre Mat underneath. The patch you grind away will probably be wide rather than deep. Once you extend the ground area to where you see the edge of the existing Gelcoat is still attached to the glass Mat you could start to re 'wet' the Chopped Mat with resin. Once the Mat is 'Wet' and sticky (but not dry!) mix some thickening agent into the remaining resin (similar to 'Micro Balloons' or 'Silica/Mica fill powder') and add this thickened resin into the repair. You should be able to build the repair back to the contour of the hull. FYI... Once all this dries and the hull sanded back to the original shape, the line and rivet detail can be restored with tape stuck to the correct depth/thickness either side of the existing line detail along the hull and filled with more stiffened resin. Let it all dry and gently sand again to blend the new detail to the original shape.. The rivets can be restored using a syringe filled with a mixture of PVA glue and Talc Powder to thicken. Tiny blobs of this mixture are laid onto the hull following the pattern of the original rivets. Once dry they can be painted over. There are many Videos on YouTube detailing the use of this procedure for Model Rivets! Should you accidentally go too far into the chopped cloth while you grind the Gelcoat, the tape will keep the outside shape of the hull and when all the outside repairs are done, remove the tape, sand the area to remove the paint and apply a layer or two of Chopped Mat to the inside to reinforce everything.. ๐ I hope this helps.. Could you maybe post photos of the crack, inside and outside of the hull??
