This is the tug as I obtained it an altered version of the Slipway Wyeforce

This is the tug as I obtained it an altered version of the Slipway Wyeforce

When I first got hold of this sorry state the back had been cut out so the first job was to fill the gap with plasticard and then use fibre glass filler. The rubber strip that came with it was properly fitted around the hull and the hull and superstructure sprayed, a 65mm Kort nozzle with a 60mm prop and shaft was fitted and a 2 1/2 to 1 MFA 540 motor attached

I'm pleased with the results so far, working lights fitted so far:lower cabin,main mast,towing rear mast companion ways and 3 home-made deck flood lights (all led's) and I have test run the model on 6volt lead acid batteries and like the amount of grunt the large prop gives
