I have always loved The Hunstsman. I had a fibre glass Precedent one a few years back but never really got it going, this was before Lipos and brushless motors. it was more like a barge than a power boat. When I first saw this one I was amazed that it looked so good despite its diminutive stature. After a few mails with Adrian at Speedline and a conversation at Warwick I walked away with a sport model with single power power pack. I also bought some 2 cell lipos, charger and bag from the component store. I should point out that lipos and brushless are still a complete mystery to me and Ive picked one of the smallest models available to start on!!!!!

Have started to build. Like all good builders I started with the stand. this comes with the model and Is laser cut from perspex. not easy to photograph!!! The hull has been trimmed and the chine strips and spray rails have been added. Also the slot for the prop shaft and the hole for the rudder post have been drilled. The final photo Is just to give some scale to the model. The unfinished project In the background Is my Sea Breeze. Cant wait to get to the electrics, I think I'll need a microscope!!!!

Well I thought it was about time to bump this up. Took a deep breath and soldered up the motor and speed controller. The little lipos I put in storage charge about 3/4 years ago perked up as soon as connected to a charger. Low and behold it all worked. Have to play around with throttle settings but we’re back on track😊
