ItalerI Schnellboot S-100 build

I am brand new to this website and have just purchased the 1/35 ItalerI Schnellboot S-100. I would like to convert to radio control and welcome any advice on parts, suppliers and technique. I'm a decent modeler but this Is my first boat. Any help would be appreciated such as: where do I begin?
