I bought this from a mate (tall tom) the hull was started and i have filled & rubbed it down / fibre glassed the inside and installed the two 5mm shafts & two brushless motors ( more info on the running gear as it happens) there is still a lot to do it will keep me busy over the winter

the deck is fitted & combing I have applied the 2nd coat of primer to the hull installed two brushless motors /rudders & servo

Progress a bit more done cabin is under construction it is a bit fiddly dressing the parts before gluing but getting there 💭

after a lot of cutting & sanding I finally got the doorways finished (I hate balsa wood) I have given it a coat of sand & seal then a 1st coat of undercoat I will let it dry then rub it down ready for the 2nd coat of undercoat 😑

thanks I am slowly getting there I have placed an order with Battlecrafts for the Bofors & Oerlikon guns cooling stack /radar etc I will post more pictures on progress later today

The torpedoes & racks are in place the stack lockers are ready to rub down then seal & undercoat,The next job is to paint the bottom black

the Perkasa fittings arrived today from Battlecraft so lots to get on with but before they get attached I have to varnish the hull and make and epoxy some wedges onto the prop shafts to stop any vibration its all good fun 💭

Don't you believe it Bob ! Judging by the builds I have seen that you have built and the wealth of knowledge you have and share your batteries are on overload and there is plenty of spark in you yet !!! 😉
I have added a few more fittings ie cooling stack Bofors & Oerlikon guns lockers hatches radar & the anchor is in progress the torpedoes & racks are nearly finished when the deck is finished i will fit the stanchions
