I got the hull from e-bay for 30 quid, decided to make my own carbon fiber plates to mount the servo, esc, and lipo to by cutting carbon fiber cloth to size to fit inside the clear plastic pack fronts (blister pack) that a lot of items come packaged in nowadays.then pour in the special polyester/fiberglass resin to just cover the cloth, then heat gently with a hair dryer to burst any air bubbles trapped in the carbon fiber weave.when dry just pop out the carbon fiber plate, the results are superb super light and super strong(looks great too).I also made the propshaft support from ply covered in carbon fiber(I love the stuff).the watercooled motor mount was secured with the same resin I use for making the carbon fiber parts, with the addition of kevlar strands through the holes along the bottom of the mount plates, then surrounded by a single layer of carbon fiber.Always use the same type of adhesive that the boat was made with(polyester/fiberglass)to get the best possible bond.
