Four of us were running them this morning and others have them.

Great fun, I got punted into the weeds on one corner and ended up on the bank on another due to driver error!

No problem as the banks are grass and no prop and rudder to damage.

Good to see a number of Club 500s appearing again and I gave mine a good run along with my Dragonforce 65 yacht.

As well as my scratch builds I have a number of RTR/ARTR plastic boats and yachts for racing and messing about with.

Went down the club last week for the first time in awhile and a few of the lads took to the water with little, 330mm long water-jet sprint boats. As I'm going to be building a water-jet boat I immediately took interest and jumped at the chance when offered a go. After a few laps of great fun I said I've got to get one of those! 😀

It arrived this morning and battery being charged for tomorrow. Apart from four AAs in the Tx it's ready to go, don't know how they do them for £49. I paid almost that much for a couple of Rx I bought at the same time.

Fast enough with its brushed water-cooled motor and good enough quality to take knocks and it's self-righting.
