The Camper & Nicholson 55 yacht Adventure is a renowned example of the classic 55-foot sailing yacht built by Camper & Nicholson, known for its robust construction and bluewater capabilities. The Nicholson 55 series, of which Adventure is a part, was constructed with a solid fibreglass/kevlar sandwich hull below the waterline and cored above, a build standard that contributed to its durability and strength. Sir Robin Knox-Johnson, a celebrated yachtsman, selected this hull design for his fleet of eight adventure yachts used in global circumnavigations, highlighting its exceptional performance and reliability. Adventure is a masthead cutter rig, a configuration that provides excellent sail handling and performance in a variety of wind conditions.
