HI Colin
I couple of things I remember now, the motors come complete with gold connectors & shrink sleeving ,also mounting plate and screws. I found that
the 365 brush motor mounting brackets were ideal for the job
Hobbyking.co.uk are a warehouse in the UK, so there is just P&P extra.

Colin
Giant Shark have a selection of brushless motors similar to the Turnigy and similar price and they ship from the UK so no hidden charges.

HI Colin
The brushless motors & ESC's were purchased from Mtroniks about three years ago. The ESC's are still available, but not the motors.
The drive system in my Dusseldorf is as follows:
ESC's are Mtroniks G2 HYDRA 30A.
Brushless motors are Turnigy 2830-1000 and can be obtained from
HobyKing.co.uk priced £10.82 each. The ESC's with these motors work well. &
Mtronik's instructions are helpful. Hope this helps 💭

HI Ron.the monitors are working now, by the way what brushless motors and ESCs did you use when you upgraded.

HI Colin
When I first built the Dusseldorf I used two 'brushed Motors' controlled
with one ESC (Electonize FR30HZ). I have since converted to Brushless
motors which of course require an ESC to each. With the brushless motors
the performance of the boat was Improved. Did get your Monitors working?

Hi. When you built your Dusseldorf did you run the motors with one ESC or two.

Dusseldorf. Are the motors brushed or brushless, and would you need 2 esc or would 1 be ok

I found that if you follow the Robbe instructions for the monitor rotation, you end up with the forward one pointing one way and the two on top pointing the other way. if you fiddle around a bit with the way the top two are set up, you can have them all pointing the same way. The pump I installed was the Graupner 6v water pump and has been working great for 4 years now.

I built this model several years ago, and the Robbe kit included all the
information needed to assemble the three Monitor assemblies ? I still
have all the Robbe literature, and on one of the large drawing's it covers in
detail the fitting of the monitor rotation parts and a diagram of the water pump
tubing distribution. in the kit you should have the three plastic junction pieces
necessary for joining sections of the tubing ( Y - T - & a straight Junction)
The kit contained a 12V Pump which I never used, and instead used one of the
screen washer pumps from Halfords. Water tubing & Junction pieces are
available from a garden centre Tropical fish section. Did you get any
instructions with the kit ? (two books & two large drawing's)

Thanks Alan. With this kit you get some pullies I'm assuming these are to rotate the three Hydrants, the only problem is you don't get any fitting information in the build instructions about the water pump or the pullies.

HI Colin, I have three boats with working hydrants, all I use is a universal windscreen washer pump and silicon tubing (the sort that is used on fast electric boats for water cooling) make sure that the tubing is a good fit on pipes as there can be a bit of pressure. This type of pump needs to be below the water line.

Hope this helps.

Cheers 👍
