Scale Shipyard does have a hull for HMCS Ottawa. I am not sure might be same class,
The sure way to succeed is, just try one more time

Some more potentially useful links Ron,
Detail of original (Interesting underwater hull shape!)

Potential sources of model kits, plans, or parts. There are a few around.👍

Shapeways does a 1:200 hull etc.

Usually they can resize to any scale you want (as long as it's not Nano!!😁)
Happy hunting,
Ciao for now,

Aha! Hence the (family) interest Ron👍
Here's a larger version of your pic😊
"Off Bush Point, Whidbey Island, USA"
A complex but interesting subject.
Lots of scope for working gizmos👍

You may already have these, if not scroll through.
There's a few pics of the ship under construction; e.g. prop pods, underwater hull etc.

Good luck with the email🤞🤞🤞

Thanks, I sent them an email.

If you zoom in on this picture, you will see my son on the aft crane during sea trials of a special project. He is an mechanical engineer with Rolls Royce, Canada.

Hi Ron,
That's HMCS Nanaimo (MM 702).
She's a Kingston Class Maritime Coastal Defence Vessel (MCDV), built in the late 90s by Halifax Shipyards Ltd. Launched 1997.

Haven't found a kit for her (yet!). Maybe the yard would help you with some plans.
Maybe a General Arrangement at least?🤞

Does anyone know of a kit or material to build this type of ship?
