Doug Yes I have plenty now. The plywood on the princess years ago seemed to be so solid and the pins were thick. I built it using evo stick glue instead. Will drill holes for the pins. Have marked out the stringer notches. Hopefully start on to the building board tmo.

    Hi HMS πŸ˜€,
Drilling the pilot holes will stop the pins bending Seaspray.
Essential when 'bashing' soft brass pins into hard wood πŸ˜‰
So now you've got enough pins to build 10 ships πŸ˜€

    Will Do Doug

While putting the new pins away I found these ones. The oldest packet is at the bottom from a Nor Star Wave Princess kit bought in 1971. They kept bending so I never used them

Cheers RN in Munich Do some practise on some on the small pieces of obechi lying around. Now I know all the dimensions of the brass pins I'll buy the correct pin pusher. The one I have is far too big

Pin pushers The one I have I think it is too big for a 7 mm pin

Good show Seaspray πŸ‘ Happy pinning.
At the risk of teaching Granny to process raw eggs 😁
Drill pilot holes to avoid splitting the stringers or planks!
Mind your fingers with the tack hammer, I hold the pins with a small pair of fine point pliers to get 'em started.
Alternative; a Pin Pusher, Amati or similar πŸ‘ There are loads on the Web.
    Cheers, Doug 😎
