Hi Dave976!
I am happy to pass this on, I am allowed to do so because the Graupner company no longer exists.
I enclose the two main plans as a PDF, but without guarantee. For cutouts I have an DIN A3 printer which is sufficient to produce small details. (Din A3 = 11.7 x 16.5")
Have fun folks!
Greets Mike
PS:The size is for large format
DIN A0 (33.1 x 46.8")
or DIN A1 (23.4 x 33.1")
Designation and language is German
I agree this has all the hallmarks of a typical pond yacht. Possibly a bit earlier than you think but I am looking from a UK viewpoint and things may have been different in the USA.
I have a similar pond yacht and it sails really well. Seems to be penty of room to fit RC if that is your plan but you could use it as a free sail model if you have a suitable pond. The running to the other side would also give you plenty of exercise👍
Please share your plans for this piece of history and thank you for sharing

Hello Firefite!
That's where I think I see Graupner's optimists. . look at my pictures in my harbour.
The torso looks similar to that of the Optimist. I had built it in 1977, but after the break in model making (my 4 children wanted baby houses, the other car garages) I packed them up well after years, but got them from the attic, but dusty. As a pensioner I now have time until my "departure". . (black humor) 👍😊

ps: Do you need plans??
