    Hi. Yes all the electrics were fine. I took out the motors and washed them in fresh water. Then attached my drill and ran them for about 15 mins. Then sprayed WD40 and soaked them in it and ran again with the drill before connecting the battery.
    It said that the speed controller and receiver was water proof any way. The big surprise was that the battery had not shorted out and took a recharge.
