Not much to show at the moment as acquired as a box of bits with no paperwork at all! Itโ€™s a research & development project as I find out how Graupner VSPs work and how to control them effectively ๐Ÿ˜Š

    Hi MotoPilot,

If you have a smart Phone you can install an App, called 'iVSP 2' or search Google play 'Voith Schneider simulator.

Or on a Windows PC try the following:-

It does run under reasonable control with steering servos on a Y lead and the two fed/rev controls on twin sticks of my Robbe Futaba F14 Navy.

Iโ€™m now looking into running it from my TX16S which is very programmable. I already have the Egretre running on it and use the great mixing to operate the scissor jack bridge raising/lowering mechanism from just a normal servo. The TX16S allows me to easily set end points, delay and speed (like aircraft flap operation) from a single switch for up/down.

Iโ€™m using the Thyssen to research better ways of translating my manual inputs into precision control and Iโ€™m using Egrette currently as a test bed for understanding how to program the TX16S so that I may have switchable operating modes on the VSPs to save me having to strain my brain with tank steering.

Iโ€™m thinking along the lines of 3 modes: normal course making with no mixing between fwd/rev and port/stbd, harbour mode with mixing and crab operation which requires port/stbd to operate in same direction.

Maybe one day in the next few months๐Ÿคž
