Hello All, Here is a model i built from scratch about 30 years ago. Im still adding things to her. She is 3/8 to the foot scale. 60 Inches long. I am presently building another Foundation Tug. I plan to build a few tugs from the Foundation Fleet where i am retired now and have plenty of time to dedicate to this great hobby.

Good Morning, I believe she is around 40 lbs. Now that you have mentioned it i am going to weigh her to see the actual weight. I can move it into the water but its heavy. I planning to build a WW2 Freighter to the same scale so that will be heavier than the Franklin. I am building a Glen Class tug at 1/32nd scale at the moment. There were a couple of the Glen Tugs that were built in Canada for the Canadian government (DND) that were used in the Halifax Dockyard then sold to Foundation Maritime. I plan the have a fleet of the Foundation Tugs as well as a couple war time Freighters. Maybe a Corvette (Sackville).

Thank you for your kind comments.
