'coriedalis KY.21' the real boat was built in 1918 in aberdeen as an admiralty steel standard drifter, HMD dusk. the model is built from a caldercraft peggie hull at 1:24 scale, and about 4 feet long, not quite finished, but she sails well. powered by a ford cortina blower motor, direct drive to a 80mm 4 blade prop.

if i remember, i think 'boats and models' sold the cygnus 33 at 1:16, and also a cygnus 38 moulds, i got this hull back in the 80's, although she had a refit in the 90's, but i think those moulds were sold to 'modelsbydesign' at a later date, and as you say, i think they also sold the cyfish and others., great little boats.

hi martin,
thanks, i'm actually nearly finished a steam drifter which ive been working on for years.. so hopefully i'll get some pics of her on sea trials soon, weather permitting!

i built her from a spare G/A plan that was handy, it was a great way to pass a trip, with an hour or two's work between watches, seems a long time ago now!
