Modular Barge Set

In order for my truckable push boat ("Springer") to move something I built this modular barge (which are individually truckable). This is one piece but has slits to simulate the joining groves and seams which results in the look of four modules fastened together.Eventually I will have the working crane tied down to the deck.
The crane in the photo is the "before" view. It now is significantly modified with an extended boom and other changes.

I think that this barge (4 modules) is a little small for the crane (size wise, not the scale as both are about 1/17).
I'm tossing around the idea of either adding on another two modules to this one or building a larger one (6 modules) to match the crane. This is what is great about theses barges, just like the real ones, they can be expanded. Lew Florida ⛱️, USA ▲

Thanks for posting. It gives me inspiration to build a springer and barge. Your detailing is great. I may also build a RC crane for the barge and also use it as a load on my fleet of 1/14 scale RC trucks.
