Built up from an Ebay hull, Candida boasts 3 grappling hooks on extending arms and is used as a Rescue Launch to retrieve stricken vessels. On her maiden voyage, she rescued a destroyer which was sunk all bar the bow. Hooking onto the railings, Candida towed the destroyer to the shore, still submerged, where she could be raised by hand.
