(Naval Ship) HMS Princess Beatrix (LCI) converted Dutch Ferry

Based this model on the Ship my Uncle sailed on throughout the Second World War, as an AB Quartermaster Coxswain, HMS Princess Beatrix (LSI), to 1/100th stand off scale. She and her sister ship HMS Queen Emma where Dutch Ferryboats converted to Carry up to 8 LCAs or 6 LCAs and 2 LCM Landing crafts on many of the raids of that conflict, as far as the Far East, returning to Ferry duties after war until scrapping in 1968/9, Mainly scratch built - Fuller story to be found at my website -
