It was a fun day! Water was about 5-6” depth , the schooner scraped the bottom every once in awhile but generally it was fine. We had many enquirers and some heard from word of mouth that a schooner was sailing in the Nathan Phillips Square pond. I let a bystander who knew how to sail RC sailboats, take the controller while I went to capture it on film. That is him, Brooke, in the last photo

Metro Marine Modellers at Nathan Phillips Square Pond
I think this is where we attended a model boat show and sail some years , hosted by the MMM club.
I still have photos
Boats on the pond at 10:00 a.m. under the arches away from the fountain.
The last time this pond was used for an event like this was when Toronto hosted the Pan- Am Games in 2015
