King Lear MBC 2nd Lifeboat Day

Just back from a most enjoyable day at King Lear lake, plenty of lifeboats on and off the water, the weather was shining on us for a change,

King Lear MBC 2nd Lifeboat Day

HI all

The weather forecast is good. The Leicester branch of the RNLI fundraising will be in attendance. The LBES will be in attendance, so this looks like being a good fundraising day. Hot food and drinks will be provided with all proceeds going to the RNLI, so please come along and enjoy a good days boating with other likeminded enthusiasts!

Regards,

Gray

King Lear MBC would like to Invite you and your club members to the second East Midlands Lifeboat day Part 2 which King Lear Model Boat Club will be holding at King Lears Lake, Watermead Country Park, Near Wanlip, Leicestershire, LE7 1PD In 2012.

This event will be taking place on on Sunday 7th October 2012 starting at around 10:00am, due to the terrible weather we had at our first event on Sunday 3rd June 2012. All Lifeboaters are welcome for an Informal and friendly event where like minded owners of model Lifeboats can get together for a free sail.

There are toilet facilities In the Country Park but no catering or cafe except for an Ice cream van, so bringing your own lunch Is recommended. There are however two pubs within two miles of the Country park where pub grub Is available.

There Is a £2.50 fee to enter the country park, so the correct change will be required when you arrive.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for any further Information and further details about the club can be found on our website at http://www.kinglearmodelboatclub.co.uk/ and further Information can be found about Watermead County Park on their website at http://www.leics.gov.uk/index/environment/countryside/countryparks/watermead
Best wishes.
