Dumas Harbor Tug

I can't find my original built Blog. It's been a while since I posted anything & we all know why . With all the stuff happening right now had to get my mind of it and finish up the Dumas U.S. Army 74' ST Tug. It's always a task to find a good spot for a on off switch so I had some P/B switch's & the model had imitation man hole covers so I glued a switch under the deck and glued top of cover onto switch Wala done . We just need some warm weather and some open water for a tug boat run. maybe by end of May as Snow on the way Friday & Saturday . I find that the 2300 MAH 1.2 volt NIMH rechargeable battery's that can be put in a 6 holder battery box for 7.2 Volt battery pack work well for small model boats good running time also .

Very nice! It always ammazes me to think that these little tugs transitted the Atlantic during the War. It was not without cost, of course.
